Where have all the crabs gone in Lake Maracaibo? That is the beauty of dealing with Mother Nature. Only she knows where they are. It has been a very strange start to the fall season in Venezuela. Typically, we are drowning in meat and prices are in free fall. Not this year – well, at least not yet. There is still hope! Even with poor production, the market is moving lower due to a lack of demand. We are down $3/lb from last week. We will keep everyone informed of the catches weekly.
