Farmed shrimp supplies from various regions worldwide are up double digits over 2021. With China still on COVID lockdown, Ecuador, Mexico, and India are all shipping much more product to the US than they did last year. This has led to significant price declines, especially in the raw peeled space.

16/20 RPD tail-on are only 43 cents an ounce and could fall further in 2023. Our largest peeled shrimp, 8/12’s RPD, are only 75 cents an ounce, while 13/15’s are approximately 57 cents per ounce.

These are popular items with a low plate cost so take advantage this month as business picks up.

Prices are subject to change.
