Every year in the fall, swordfish landings increase while demand decreases. Some years are worse than others, and this year is shaping up to be particularly challenging. Swordfish boats from around the world are returning with large-volume hauls, but buyers predominantly have only the frozen market to turn to for most of their catch. This results in low prices for our customers. We’ll be pricing beautiful, large swordfish loins under $10/lb. again this week.
