Spring Lobster Season – We’re now seven weeks into the nine-week lobster season in Atlantic Canada, and early 2025 harvest figures are showing notable declines across most LFAs. Year-over-year drops range from 5% to 20%, depending on the region.
The limited catch has helped put a firm floor under the CK market. With just two weeks left in the season, major buyers—particularly national chains—are now stepping in to secure enough product to carry them through the end of the year.
