Local Jumbo Rock- Their migration up to Massachusetts is in full swing. If you like to surf fish, this week is the week to go down to Assateague and catch one for yourself.

Local 5/8 Rock- Beautiful pound net fish off of Smith Point, Virginia.

Local Soft Crabs- Peelers running hard in southern North Carolina and in our Bay. The majority will be jumbos by this weekend.

Local Fresh MD Crabmeat- Plenty of raw material available and local houses are picking daily. Lump is under $20 now.

Local Jumbo Black Bass- Really nice fish packed in West Ocean City, Maryland.

Local Fluke- Reasonably priced (still under $10) and packed in Chincoteague.

Local Hard Crabs- Trot liners in the upper bay have started early this year, and the quality of crabs coming out of the mud right now is excellent.

Fresh Venz Meat- Supply is excellent and the price is holding steady at very depressed levels.

Hardshell Canadian Lobster- Most areas of the Canadian Maritime provinces are open starting today and 100,000,000 pounds will be caught in the next 60 days.

Snow Crab Clusters- $7.95 on 8 up clusters — Great Deal!

Local Mahi- In the next week or two, schools of mahi will be racing up our coast on their way to Nova Scotia for the summer. Boats out of Hatteras, North Carolina, will intercept them in the gulf stream a few miles offshore of the Outer Banks.
