Fish in Season – 5.18.26 – 5.22.26
Mahi – With the rise in fuel costs and longer fishing trips, we are seeing a decrease in supply.
Halibut – Market is starting to increase due to higher demand. Expect to see a jump in price this week.
Lobsters – With more and more fishing grounds starting to open in Canada, supply is not an issue. The price point continues to be a value.
Rockfish – With Maryland closed, supply is tight. We’ve brought in Canadian fish to fill the gab.
Soft Shell Crabs – This week’s soft crab supply is tight because we are inbetween sheds.
American Reds – Prices rising slightly as fuel costs push fishing costs higher.
Fluke – Prices are firm and supply is good.
Black Bass – Great supply this week. 2-4 pound fish.
Tuna – Beautiful domestic fish available.
Swordfish – We are seeing some good supply on beutiful fish.
Cod Loins – Global shortage driving prices up. Pollock remains a strong substitute with similar quality.
Life crawfish – Domestic live crawfish available. 2 Day notice. 30lb sacks.
Crabmeat – Fresh local crabmeat is going to this week as females are starting to sponge and you can’t pick sponging crabs.
1-2 Snapper – Domestic B-liners are available all week.
Dutch Mussels – Available Tuesday.
Oysters – Some farms are slowly coming back on.
